Who can use Umingle
You must be at least 18 years old to use Umingle, as a guest or with an account. An account that turns out to belong to someone younger is closed.
One account, one person. Don't share your login, sell an account, or run one for somebody else.
What is not allowed
These apply in matches, calls, messages and profiles. Any of them can get an account removed:
- Explicit material on camera or in messages, from either side.
- Anything involving a person under 18. This is removed at once and reported to the authorities.
- Harassment, threats or pressure, including carrying on after someone has said no.
- Recording the other person, or screenshotting or passing on any part of a call.
- Pretending to be someone else, or using Umingle to advertise, recruit or scam.
- Creating a new account to get around a removal.
Ending chats, reports, removals and blocks
Either person can end a call or tap Next at any time without giving a reason. Profiles can be reported; reports are reviewed by people. Breaking these terms can get an account banned for a while or, for serious or repeated breaks, removed — and a removed account stays removed. If you believe a ban was a mistake, ask for a review as described on the help page. Blocks take effect immediately and stay in place until you remove them from your block list.
Coins and paid calls
- New accounts may get some free video matches. How many is set by the system, so no particular number is promised.
- Beyond that, video calls are paid with coins bought in advance. Each call has its own price, shown in the app, so calls of the same length can cost different amounts.
- A notice appears in the call before billing starts.
- Umingle VIP is an optional membership; matching, calling and messaging work without it.
- Payments are handled by a payment provider on its own page. Umingle does not take card numbers.
No guarantee of who is online
Umingle is provided as it is. Who you meet depends on who is around at the time, so no particular person, waiting time or uninterrupted service can be guaranteed.
Changes to these terms
When these terms change, the date at the top changes with them. Using Umingle after that date means the updated terms apply. What data is collected is covered in the privacy policy.
